Precisely what if the original basis for Jobbie Nooner is becoming much less relevant with each obstacle faced from the Big 3?

No-one really cares why 1000s of people visit Gull Island every June to drink, dance and oh no, wear “less to nothing” of body-cover. They only hope sunlight is hot, the cooler is loaded and also the bikinis are so minim.

Jobbie Nooner, the working-class spank that comes about yearly within the last Friday in June is on, and in accordance with WDIV, thousands are getting rid of work today to participate in the enjoyment.

The party in the first instance is started a couple of decades ago when auto-workers will throw away the last half day of work ahead of the July shutdown with the factories.

Right now, there’s no telling what percentage of the participants are actually auto-workers, but like I said previously, that is beside the point.

Gull Island located at the north end of lake St. Clair, near St. Clair Shores. The only method to get there, it is by boat, and right now the location surrounding this tropical isle is probably a mish-mash of so pontoons, jet skis and motor boats, all covered with the party guys.

According to WWJ, today is a great day to be a business owner in St. Clair Shores.

June 25, WWJ: “You have to see it to believe it. You never saw so many people in your life having such a good time,” said Renee Woodford, who works at the Wine Dock.

What’s the best part? “I like to see how they come in dressed,” said Woodford. “They’ll have lots of beads on, hats, they’ll come in with their bathing suits and high heels. They guys will come in with Hawaiian shirts and straw hats. It’s just so much fun,” she said.

If you are stuck at work and searching for a reason to go away – this probably is a bad one. But if generate another thing, no less than you’ve got a place to visit and party.
